GoWeka Travel – Terms & Conditions

 

1. My Role

GoWeka Travel acts as a personal travel advisor, arranging travel services on behalf of third-party suppliers, including airlines, accommodation providers, tour operators, cruise lines, and transport companies. GoWeka Travel is not the direct provider of these services.

 

2. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are indicative and subject to availability until bookings are confirmed. Prices may change due to supplier adjustments, currency fluctuations, taxes, or fuel surcharges. Prices are guaranteed only once full payment has been received and booking confirmation issued.

 

3. Payments

Payment due dates will be communicated at the time of booking. Late payments may result in cancellations or additional fees. Certain bookings may require full payment at the time of confirmation. All payments are subject to supplier terms.

 

4. Cancellations & Amendments

Cancellations or changes may incur fees charged by suppliers, plus any applicable service fees from GoWeka Travel. Fees may be up to 100% of the booking value depending on supplier policies and timing. Service and Credit Card fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

 

5. Refunds

Refunds are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant suppliers. GoWeka Travel is not responsible for delays or denials of refunds caused by suppliers. Approved refunds will be processed once received from the supplier.

 

6. Travel Documents

Clients are responsible for reviewing all travel documents upon receipt and notifying GoWeka Travel immediately of any errors. GoWeka Travel is not liable for losses resulting from incorrect information not reported prior to travel.

 

7. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements

Clients must ensure they hold valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and meet all entry requirements for their destination(s). GoWeka Travel will provide adequate guidance, but cannot guarantee entry into any country.

 

8. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all trips, including those taken domestically. In some cases, insurance may be mandatory for certain suppliers or destinations. GoWeka Travel is not responsible for losses that could have been covered by insurance. A Quote for comprehensive travel insurance can be provided upon request.

 

9. Changes, Disruptions & Force Majeure

GoWeka Travel is not liable for travel disruptions caused by events beyond my control, including weather events, strikes, pandemics, airline schedule changes, or government restrictions. Any additional costs incurred are the client’s responsibility.

 

10. Supplier Responsibility

All travel services are provided by independent suppliers. GoWeka Travel is not responsible for the acts, omissions, insolvency, or failures of these suppliers.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoWeka Travel shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, injury, delay, or damage arising from travel arrangements.

 

12. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking and/or making payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

 

 

GoWeka Travel Cancellation Policy

 

- Client-Initiated Cancellations

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable). Cancellation fees are based on the date the cancellation notice is received.

More than 14 days before departure:

Any GoWeka Travel Booking Fees are refundable. Some Provider cancellation penalties may apply. Please refer to each providers individual cancellation policy listed on your Booking Summary.

14 days or less before departure:

Any GoWeka Travel Booking Fees are non-refundable. Some Provider cancellation penalties will apply. Please refer to each providers individual cancellation policy listed on your Booking Summary.

 

- Supplier Policies

Airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and other providers have their own cancellation and refund policies, which are outside the control of GoWeka Travel. The client agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of all providers involved in their trip.

 

- Refunds

If a refund is issued by a provider, it will be returned to the original form of payment, minus any non-refundable GoWeka Booking Fees, if applicable. Refund processing times vary by supplier and may take several weeks.

 

- Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances. Declining travel insurance releases the travel advisor from liability related to financial loss due to cancellation.

 

-Advisor-Initiated Cancellations

In the unlikely event the travel advisor must cancel services, any unused advisor fees will be refunded. The advisor is not responsible for provider-imposed penalties.
